Our members, regardless of any pre-existing conditions can request a consultation 24/7 365, by web, mobile app, or calling WellVia’s Patient Care Center. On average, you'll be connected to your doctor in less than 10 minutes.
When you request a consultation with a WellVia doctor, you'll be asked to provide us with your basic medical history. This is the same information you fill out on the clipboard in a doctor's office. Prior to your consultation, your WellVia doctor will review your history to provide you with the most complete treatment possible.
You can speak with your doctor over the phone or through a video chat session. When you request your consultation, you will have the ability to choose which method works best for you.
Our bilingual, board-certified doctors will contact you within minutes of scheduling your consultation. Your consultation and health information is always secure.
WellVia utilizes a rigorous screening process to ensure you are consulting with the highest quality physicians. The initial selection involves a thorough review of their clinical experience, training, licensure and questionnaire. In addition, WellVia physicians are subjected to a NCQA/NPDB (National Committee for Quality Assurance/National Practitioner Data Bank) verification standard and background screen. Subsequently, each doctor is monitored through our industry leading Quality Assurance/Quality Improvement Process. When requesting a consultation, WellVia will connect you with a U.S. based doctor licensed in your state.
When your doctor believes a prescription is necessary, they will send your prescription to the pharmacy of your choice following your consultation.
WellVia doctors do not issue prescriptions for substances controlled by the DEA, non-therapeutic, and/or certain drugs which may be harmful because of their potential for abuse. Also, non-therapeutic drugs such as Viagra and Cialis are not prescribed by WellVia physicians. View the current list of DEA controlled substances.
